Muzaffar Vohra

Muzaffar Vohra is a proud resident of Fort Bend County for more than 22 years, graduated in Law, small business owner, and CEO of the Vohra Foundation. He has dedicated his life to community service.

Married for 33 years, Vohra is a proud father of four children and a grandfather of three. All of his kids are graduates of Fort Bend schools.

His eldest son is a physician and an alumnus of Sugar Land Mayor Youth Advisory Council. His second son is a lawyer and Vohra’s youngest son, a junior at the University of Houston, has interned with the United States Department of State in Washington, D.C, as well as the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office. His daughter, the youngest, is a Junior at Dulles High School and an alumnus of Sugar Land Teen Police Academy. The Vohra’s have been calling Fort Bend “Home” for over two decades and three generations.
 
As an alumnus of the Sugar Land Citizens Police Academy and an active member of the Rotary Club, he has the privilege of engaging deeply with the community and contributing to its well-being. His experience with the Citizens Police Academy provided valuable insights into public safety and the dedication of our law enforcement officers. It has strengthened his commitment to supporting initiatives that keep our neighborhoods safe and foster positive relationships between residents and law enforcement.
As a proud part of the FBISD Board Leadership Academy, he is well-versed in the importance of education and community engagement, understanding of the challenges and opportunities within our school system.
 
Vohra has been deeply involved in various forms of community service and volunteering throughout his life. As CEO of the Vohra Foundation, He led initiatives focused on disaster relief, donation drives, and providing support to communities in need. During natural disasters, such as hurricanes, he assists in distributing essential supplies 
 
For over 15 years, He have been a committed volunteer with the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH), where he has been involved in various projects, including food distribution, public health campaigns etc., These long-term efforts have given the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life and make a meaningful impact in community.
 
These experiences have shaped his understanding of our community’s values and challenges and have inspired him to run for Fort Bend District Clerk , drive his commitment to serve with transparency, compassion, and a focus on making a tangible impact for all residents of our county.
